For those of you who do not know what a Davy Crockett hat is. Back in the late 50’s the craze for kids all over the World was to have a “Coon Skin” hat just like Davy Crockett from the Walt Disney movie of the same name.
I can still remember mine it was a mangy old rabbit skin that never left my head ,but as far as I was concerned it was “Coon skin” and I was Davy Crockett.
